Dan Frey Says: In the September 2015 issue of Health Insurance Underwriter, my colleague, Leesa Tori, and I discussed the importance of brokers in a post-ACA marketplace. As the number of consumers enrolled in state insurance exchanges increases each year, the pool of available consumers obviously decreases. It will be more difficult to increase enrollment in the exchanges. Now, more than ever, professional brokers are needed to educate, enroll and service these consumers.
